An urgent appeal for the Italian Artistic Craftsmanship (edited by Oma – Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte, Fatti ad Arte and Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte) has been delivered to the Government: a cry of pain and alertness of the sector, which has entered deeply into crisis due to the consequences of the health emergency and completely without adequate help to date.
It is signed by about 50 protagonists of excellence of the high Italian craftsmanship, masters owners of historical activities, supported by 60 illustrious names, authoritative names from the world of culture, journalism, entrepreneurship, design, art, who care about the future of artistic craftsmanship. A productive world unique for its cultural value, the foundation of the best Made in Italy, which cannot be lost. The Government has been asked to actively support the workshops, ateliers and businesses with a series of concrete initiatives and immediate economic support: suspension of taxes, tax relief, grants, support for training, digitization, e-commerce, funds for microcredit operations … It is urgent to open an institutional working table on these issues, before it is too late for many of our craft businesses.
Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte and Fatti ad Arte wish to expand the network of supporters as much as possible: for this reason they invite to join the Appeal by signing the petition on the site: www.change.org
