The successful “Mini Master” of Fondazione Cologni, with the collaboration of prestigious universities and art schools in Milan, has been renewed for the fifth consecutive year. In November the online lessons will start for the students who won the call for proposals of “Una Scuola, un Lavoro” for the year 2021/2022. The first week, thanks to the precious teachings of the professors of the Politecnico di Milano, the students will face the theme of personal branding and the creation of their portfolio. With the second module, dedicated to micro-business management and marketing, students, professionally accompanied by professors from SDA Bocconi, will study marketing-mix and balance sheets. Fundamental for a craftsman is communication and future trainees will be introduced to the basics of proper communication of themselves and their work by IULM professors in the third module. The cycle of meetings will end with the course on safety and health at work, provided by professionals of IndirizzoAmbiente. The appointment with the last module of the “Mini Master” is dedicated to the History of applied and decorative arts through frontal lessons and visits to the main museums in Milan, thanks to the qualified teachers of Scuola Corsi Arte. Very important also in this edition the support of Starhotels, which will generously host the young trainees during their entire four-week stay in Milan at the Starhotels Business Palace. A valuable contribution, desired by Elisabetta Fabri, President and CEO of Starhotels, to effectively support the transmission of knowledge to the new generations. Before the apprenticeship in the workshop, attending the preparatory minimaster, the students will have the great opportunity to experience firsthand the hospitality of a hotel of excellence, living fully a “workmanlike” reception, inspired by the Italian lifestyle that the whole world envies us. www.unascuolaunlavoro.it
