SlowTile, born in 2018, in Florence, stems from the encounter of the “special artists” of the “Made in Sipario” social cooperative with the Tuscan tradition of hand-glazed terracotta tiles, in collaboration with architect Leone Pecchioli, and expresses, in eight different “creative gestures/decorations,” their particular and unique creativity. A veritable “gymnasium” for training and experimentation, that combines a special flair and artistic taste, drawing on the experience of ceramics and design sector professionals in the creation of a high-end ceramics product line. The collection is original, rooted in the local territory, and aims to offer disabled persons a true opportunity to enter the world of work, in the respect of their rhythms and ways of working.
