Rubelli

Rubelli has been creating, producing and marketing fine fabrics since 1889, innovating while remaining faithful to tradition. Today it makes high-performance technical fabrics on new-generation looms, in addition to precious velvets and the exclusive soprarizzi, silk velvets handwoven on original 18th-century looms moved to Venice from the Rubelli factory in Como. In Venice, the Ca’ Pisani Rubelli building houses the showroom and Museum-Historical Archives containing over 7,000 textile documents, a source of inspiration for new collections and special projects, such as the Bolshoi Theatre’s curtain, the Scala Theatre’s boxes, Palazzo Reale in Venice and Peter Marino boutiques. Available exclusively at the Venetian showroom, bags and small objects handmade with Rubelli fabrics.
