Fabbrica delle candele is a dynamic workshop which thrives on the owner’s passion for a special material, wax, from which delicate and elaborate furnishing objects are made. There are two main product lines: Baroque-style candles and lucide follie, wax-treated flowers covered with vegetable resin. Original and elegant design objects, an idea patented by Anna Raddavero, who took over the business in 2010. The decoration stage requires a truly fascinating tool: a special “color palette” which consists in holding a small flame under spoons filled with wax colored exclusively with natural pigments.

SlowTile, born in 2018, in Florence, stems from the encounter of the “special artists” of the “Made in Sipario” social cooperative with the Tuscan tradition of hand-glazed terracotta tiles, in collaboration with architect Leone Pecchioli, and expresses, in eight different “creative gestures/decorations,” their particular and unique creativity.
