Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio

Hand-woven silk and precious velvets and brocades is the ancient art that the Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio wants to preserve and endorse. An art that has been established over the centuries and is now being continued using early twentieth-century looms to produce exclusive fabrics on commission or to reproduce historical collections. The Fondazione creates works for private individuals but also for institutions, recently reproducing the cloths of the King’s Chamber in the Wilanow Palace in Warsaw. The Fondazione also carries out educational activities with the aim of passing on this art form.
