The world of craftsmanshipOn June 7, the names of the 10 finalists of the Artigiano del Cuore (Artisan of the Heart) contest, organized by Wellmade – The community of well-made lovers, were announced.
Artigiano del Cuore is a digital contest promoted by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, in collaboration with Fatti ad Arte: it was created in 2018 to enhance the figure of the artisan in Italy and raise awareness about the urgency of a generational change in this sector, exploiting social communication channels and an original and interactive narrative. This fourth edition is dedicated to young masters between 18 and 35 years old, who have recently opened a business: from June 7 to 21 it will be possible to vote, among the 10 finalists selected by the Cologni Foundation, their own “Artigiano del Cuore” (Artisan of the Heart), directly on the contest website (www.artigianodelcuore.it). As every year, the public will then decide the winner of the contest, who will benefit from a donation of up to € 5,000 in support of his or her activity – collected through a crowdfunding campaign organized at the end of the contest by the Cologni Foundation – and will be able to exhibit for free at Fatti ad Arte, an event dedicated to high-level craftsmanship held every year in the Historic Houses of Biella. After registering on the site, anyone can vote and thus offer their support to a young master craftsman!
