EventsOn the occasion of its twenty-fifth anniversary and in honour of its designer Alessandro Mendini, the Groninger Museum (Belgium) presents the exhibition "Mendini World". The exhibition, which was conceived and designed by the architect shortly before his recent death, shows not only his works but also those of the artists who inspired him and towards whom he felt an elective affinity: from Signac and Matisse to Gio Ponti and De Lucchi, up to Gaetano Pesce. The exhibition gives back a journey between visual arts, architecture and design, represented by a rich selection of over 200 objects belonging to different fields, from jewels to architectural models, from everyday objects to large sculptures.
