EventsThe outer volumes of the old Conterieindustrial areas in Murano, once devoted to the processing of glass beads (namely, conterie), have been carefully renovated to create an exhibition space for temporary exhibitions, InGalleria, a shop for books and magazines, a flower shop, Fioraio, but also two convivial spaces, "Vetri Ristorante" and "Vetro Bistrot." The restoration of the rooms has preserved the internal staircase, the herringbone oak floor, the exposed beams and the ceiling’s floral decorations. The colors are modulated with mosaic glass tiles in tonalities of sea green. The first exhibition to open the structure presents the glass of Lino Tagliapietra with 65 works from the artist’s own collection as well as others specially created for the event. The installations accompany visitors through a variety of subjects and glassworking techniques. The exhibition Lino Tagliapietra. Glassworkwill be open until December 31, 2019.
