EventsAn unmissable exhibition set up on the piano nobile of the palace in Rome’s Piazza Venezia, built in the mid-seventeenth century, which was for a long time the residence of Letizia Ramolino Bonaparte, Napoleon's mother, and is now home to the exhibition space of "Generali Valore Cultura." A meticulous restoration has ensured the safety of the frescoes and the Venetian mosaic floors, protected by glass sheets that allow their preservation but also their visibility. The exhibition presents 50 works, unprecedented or never previously shown in Italy, from private collections. The paintings focus on the modernity of Paris in the last quarter of the 19th century, the portraits of the protagonists of an emancipated bourgeoisie and the intriguing suggestion of landscapes painted en plein air.
