EventsThe by-now historic project, "Una Scuola, un Lavoro. Percorsi di Eccellenza” (“A School, a Job. Training to Excellence”), through which the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte supports training apprenticeships for the young master artisans of tomorrow, is now in its 8th edition. For the 2019/2020 edition, the Foundation will select 25 applications from all those submitted by the Schools of Arts and Crafts in Italy within 30 September 2019. Each young school graduate, new university graduate or newly-qualified artisan selected will have the opportunity to attend 4 weeks of courses at the most prestigious educational institutions and universities in Milan, and then carry out an extra-curricular, six-month paid apprenticeship working side-by-side with an experienced master craftsman. The Cologni Foundation desires to pay homage to the beauty of our peninsula, in supporting the know-how that expresses the identities of its territories, the precious heritage of each Region that awakens the passions and predilections of many learned collectors, as well as the imagination of beauty lovers worldwide.
