EventsEstablished in 1980, the exhibition has always strived to foster the revival of the art of the traditional ceramic nativity scene, and to contribute to developing contemporary forms and techniques. This year the theme is “Forme d'Amore (Forms of Love)” which, as stated by the Councilor for Culture Elisabetta Dubla, “offers a stimulus so that art, an instrument that expresses beauty and positively reworks human events, can take the Christian heritage and make it secular and universal”. Over the years, this event has hosted numerous Italian ceramic masters, whose award-winning works are now kept at the permanent nativity scene section in the Museum of Ceramics in Grottaglie.
