The costumes of “Marie Antoinette” by Sofia Coppola on exhibit in Prato

The Museo del Tessuto (Fabric Museum) in Prato is launching the 2018 exhibition season with a major exhibit dedicated to costumes from Sofia Coppola’s film Marie Antoinette. From February 11th to May 27th, 2018, the costumes - considered by the critics as the result of the best cinematographic reinterpretation ever made of 18th century clothing - are the extraordinary work of world-renowned costume designer Milena Canonero, who received the Oscar in 2006 for that production.
