The art of Japanese paper (Washi-Art) is an original technique invented by Meiko Yokoyama: by tearing up and gluing together colored Japanese paper, the artist creates images that change when hit by light. A blend of reality, fantasy, memories and dreams. The art of stone introduced by Lituana Di Sabatino and Satomi Koyama is Florentine mosaic, a technique which is closely linked to the city of Florence. The works are made by combining the traditional Florentine mosaic technique and the use of beautiful natural materials.
Kicking off the 7th Edition of the “Artigiano del Cuore” contest, promoted by the Cologni Foundation and the Wellmade platform.
