EventsPromoted and planned by Caript Foundation, the exhibition showcases a selection of about eighty big-size photographs by Rita Lintz, an artist and performer from New York who makes use of several expressive languages, from photography to installations and performances. The photographs on show take the viewer on a journey through time and space- from cinema, art, literature to personal experiences- along a network connecting Tuscany and New York. The link is the Filet Lace (also known as Modano) embroidery technique, which was performed in Pistoia from 1897 until World War Two and observed and photographed by the artist in the hills of Pistoia.
