EventsThe Associazione Italiana Città della Ceramica - AICC (Italian City of Ceramics Association), in relation to its activities for the protection and promotion of traditional Italian artistic ceramics has developed, since its founding, numerous projects in support of one of the artistic techniques boasting a millenary tradition and that has become a symbol of the territorial identity of each region of Italy. AICC has established important relations with the Fuping Pottery Art Village - International Ceramics Center, creating a network of exchanges between Italy and China, filled with interesting ideas and reflections on ceramic art. For the two-year period 2019-2020 there is the possibility for Italian potters to attend workshops lasting one month at Fuping, where they will be assisted by a tutor and have the opportunity to create significant works developing the theme of contamination between Italian and Chinese tradition and a possible dialogue between two poetics, as suggestive as they are rich in history and culture.
