This ceramist from Assemini, Walter Usai, understands the methods of the trade learned from his father Elvio and a long memory family, dating back to the first half of the nineteenth century. His work, characterized by bold and intense colours, includes a varied line of everyday objects, such as containers, plates, vases and pitchers, made in line with present-day trends. Capacity, technique and care make Walter an innovator who has been able to combine elegant taste in colour, without losing sight of the very important form/function aspect and the enjoyment of work created entirely by hand.
