In anticipation of the second edition of the international exhibition “Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future”, the Michelangelo Foundation has decided to publish in a precious book the magnificent photographic work that Susanna Pozzoli had created for the Venetian Way exhibition, during the first edition of Homo Faber in 2018. The volume will be presented in November 2021 at the Sala degli Arazzi of the Giorgio Cini Foundation on the Venetian island of San Giorgio Maggiore.
Susanna Pozzoli has managed to tiptoe into these workshops, which she has experienced and interpreted with her love of artisan knowledge, and which she has told in short and very personal texts, very intense and engaging, capturing different aspects each time. So we find exceptional portraits, but also the story of places, life stories, very intimate emotions. The narrative unfolds through the images of the 21 carefully selected realities, identified by Michelangelo Foundation and Fondazione Cologni in collaboration with some of the most important institutions of the sector, such as Confartigianato Imprese Venezia.
