MC PAPER

Marco Castellini today is the only artisan papermaker to carry on the tradition of Toscolano, an ancient Italian papermaking hub of 14th-century origin. His activity takes place in the "MC Paper" paper workshop located in Via Trento, the historic center of Toscolano Maderno on Lake Garda, where he produces handmade papers daily. In his papers he combines traditional methodology with personal studies of papermaking technique, thus producing high quality handmade papers with a deep historicity, but which are perfectly adapted to modern times. His papers are used by artists in the world of watercolor, calligraphy, and printing, as well as by communication agencies, publishing houses, and in the wedding industry. The paper it produces is subject to "De.Co." qualification, making it a Communal Denomination product. It is a member of IAPMA (International Association of Paper Makers and Artists).  It is an artisan recognized by OMA (Osservatorio Mestieri d'Arte).
