A true artisan workshop with a strong Renaissance atmosphere. Nerdi Orafi has been housed in the Casa dell'Orafo on the Ponte Vecchio, where the Medici Family chose to gather all Florentine goldsmiths, since 1948. In addition to restoration works, this magical place creates custom-made jewelry, engraving on precious metals, seals and coats of arms. Sketches and drawings, castings and moulds in gold and silver, traditional Florentine fretwork and hammered jewelry and other age-old techniques are used and handed down in order to carry on Florence’s world-famous goldsmithing tradition.
