Marco Ripa

Marco Ripa is a craftsman and designer. Since he was 15 he has worked with various types of metal, but prefers iron, because it is less repetitive and ‘noisier’. It is a material that is usually rigid and linear, but that Ripa can make malleable and sinuous when necessary. He makes attractive items of furniture, playing with geometric and modular lines, which create a dynamic sequence of spaces and volumes. Bookcases, tables, chairs, umbrella stands, vases, coat hangers: fun compositions that can find a place in every home, works of art that do not lose their functional character.
