Gallia e Peter

The best-known milliner’s shop in Milan: started in 1930 by the grandparents of the current owner, Laura Marelli, it has been making, since then, a variety of hats, in the most creative styles, for the most elegant ladies in town. In the shop-workshop, the founder’s great-granddaughter continues the family tradition by creating hat models in felt, straw, fabric, organza, fur. She still makes use of the old wooden blocks, small tools and basic equipment of a craft requiring great manual skill. Laura makes also eccentric hats with innovative material for high fashion shows.
