A former industrial area filled with showrooms and, at the end of the garden, a truly special workshop: the headquarters of Antonino Sciortino, an artist-craftsman who specializes in wirework and creates highly original furnishing objects, from tables to lamps, from chairs to bookcases. Born the youngest of nine children, he began working at a very young age as an apprentice in his hometown, Bagheria, and in 1998 he moved to Milan, where he has been creating magnificent objects and sculptures for Italy’s best-known furniture manufacturers, such as B&B, Driade, Poliform, Busnelli. Quite amazing are the sculptures made from a single strand of wire.
