The company, founded in 1966, was the brainchild of Franco Biccini, father of the current owner, who immediately began to specialize in the restoration of antique books, fashioning the bookbindery with a passion fluctuating between art and craftsmanship. The restoration of books is still performed today, on commission, for individual clients and public institutions. Various types of antique and modern bookbinding methods are employed in creating hand-dyed bazzana leather bindings, parchment bindings, as well as calf hide or Moroccan leather bindings. All their artisan production is hand-crafted in their workshop in Perugia.
