A young seamstress who makes wedding dresses and a producer of artisan footwear are the winners of the fourth edition of the OmA twenty-to-forty contest, organized by the Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte (Agency for Artisanal Trades) of the Fondazione CR Firenze. The jury of experts awarded first prize to Miranda Di Sipio, a debutante seamstress from Florence who specializes in the production of wedding dresses and who is about to open her own studio. Indeed the € 5,000 prize is earmarked for the purchase of equipment and for advertising. The second prize is granted for a personalized consulting plan in the areas of marketing, public relations and financial strategy in collaboration with Euroteam Projects (an intermediary agency for the Erasmus Entrepreneur program): this year’s award went to Olivia Monteforte, a custom footwear maker from Pesaro.
