After graduating from the well-known school for mosaicists in the Friuli region, Luciano Petris opened his workshop in Codroipo in 1980. His endeavours cover a vast range of activities: design and reproduction of artistic mosaics of modern and contemporary inspiration, in particular; production of furnishings and facings, using Venetian enamel and marble as well as more unusual materials such as rocks and stone. His works are present in Europe, the United States, the Arab countries, Asia and, naturally, Italy. He has collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as Christian Ludwig Attersee and Joze Ciuha.
