The Gioielleria Carta was founded by Francesco Carta in 1920 and soon became a point of reference for Sardinian goldsmiths. Original designs and perfect execution immediately characterised the productions of this workshop, which specialises in filigreeing and engraving by hand. It boasts the creation of important works, such as the halo of Sant’Efisio, the patron of Cagliari, made by Giovanni Carta in 1956. Today, his son Pierandrea, the third generation of goldsmiths, continues the family tradition, creating beautiful finely-worked jewels with passion and skill.
