Este Ceramiche Porcellane

Following the local tradition of ceramic-making, in the late 1700s goldsmith and intaglio artist Girolamo Franchini began researching the porcelain-making process, which was very fashionable in Europe at the time. In 1955, the Florentine Giovanni Battista Giorgini, the man who launched Italian high fashion throughout the world and supported the “marriage” of fashion and design, took over the old factory and went on pursuing this centuries-old tradition. Handed down from one generation to the next, Este Ceramiche Porcellane produces both classic and modern-style objects of the highest quality and craftsmanship.
