Corrado De Meo

Corrado De Meo’s jewellery is unconventional sculptures that, despite their size, are light and very wearable. The starting point is usually a polymer that is then coated with resins or silver. It is worked using lime, fire and other things that allow it to be transformed. These artworks are made on commission, but usually the artist makes his own creations, which go through different stages, currently that of an original destructuring. De Meo’s jewel sculptures are exhibited in Palazzo Pitti in the section dedicated to unconventional jewellery and at the Fondazione Cominelli.
